Lot Description

A late Victorian silver and gold diamond and amethyst brooch.

Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct, H-J colour, SI1-P1 clarity.
Length 4.7cms. 7.3gms.

Surface scratches and minor marks. General discolouration/tarnish.
Converted from a necklace, later brooch fittings.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
One diamond noticeably chipped, another with frits/nicks at girdle.
Amethyst appear a fairly well matched medium slightly pinkish purple. Variation in tone. Facet-edge abrasions.
