From the BAMS website: "The medal celebrating Mozart’s bicentennial features a cleverly linked double portrait of the composer. On one side the mature Mozart, bewigged and waistcoated, plays a chord of G minor. Facing in the other direction, and modelled in three dimensions, is the young Mozart – the child as father of the man."
