Lot Description

A late 19th century silver and gold old-cut diamond bow brooch, with articulated ribbon terminals.

Principal diamond estimated weight 3.85cts, M-tinted colour, SI clarity.
Estimated total diamond weight 27.65cts, H-tinted, VS2-P1 clarity.
Length 9.9cms. 49.6gms.

General discolouration.
Brooch fitting detachable, possibly not original.
Brooch fitting with repair, small dents.
Pin with partial French marks, indistinct.
Diamonds appear bright and fairly well matched.
Principal diamond with nibbles and small chips at the girdle, small associated feather at a corner.
Seven non-principal diamonds nicked/chipped.
