Full Lot Description
A matched pair of Edwardian silver novelty pepper pots, each modelled as a teddy bear in a sitting position with textured fur detailing. One hallmarked Henry Charles Freeman, Birmingham 1909, the other with distorted marks, probably William Vale & Sons with same date and assay. Height 3.5cm, weight 14.8g.

Condition Report
- Both displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use.
- Some minor surface dints and nicks.
- Some surface wear and rubbing to areas of the fur decoration with slight loss of detail or definition.
- The surface on the bottom of one of the teddy bears appears a little uneven and lumpy and consequently the hallmarks in this same area are a little distorted.
- Both detachable heads are clearly hallmarked with lion passant and date letter.
