An Edwardian silver mounted novelty pin cushion, modelled in the form of a salon chair, the scroll bordered back enclosing figurative scene. Hallmarked William Comyns & Sons, London 1901. Height of back 14.5cm, weight excluding cushion 2.23ozt (69.5g).

Condition Report
- Appears quite dirty and tarnished all over and in need of a clean.
- Displaying some general expected surface wear, marks and scratches, consistent with age and use.
- Residues of dried polish to some crevices.
- Some minor nicks and dints, including around edges.
- Possible small solder repair at join of chair back to seat on one side.
- Some surface rubbing and slight loss of detail or definition to areas of the decoration; and a small hole in the metal along scrolled edge of chair back on one side.
- Slight knocks to feet and consequently has a little wobble.
- Cushion drops in and out and is likely a later replacement.
- Hallmarks clear and legible with minor rubbing.
