Condition Report
- Both pairs of ladles appear in fairly good overall condition.
- All displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use.
- With heavier surface wear to the Edwardian pair, and numerous little surface nicks, mainly seen to the bowls; the drops to the reverse of the bowls are also a little worn and have lost their definition.
- The Mappin & Webb ladles appear brighter; there is some surface rubbing and slight loss of detail to areas of the decoration.
- Hallmarks to both pairs are clear and legible with some minor rubbing; hallmark punches on the Edwardian pair are a little blackened with dirt or polish residues.
- Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
