A First World War bronze memorial plaque (or death penny) named to Charles Farrell, together with a J. Wardale & Co dial operating compass in a fitted wooden case, stamped London 1918 (2).

- Memorial plaque sold without provenance or research.
- General tarnishing all over to plaque.
- Both displaying surface wear, marks, scratches and scuffs.
- Decoration is worn on bronze example.
- Compass in working condition.
- Encircles W to reverse - cast as Woolwich, and workers number between lion's rear leg and tail.
- The wood on compass is worn, with KP inscribed on interior of case.
- Staining on face of compass.
- Glass on compass appears in good condition.
