Full Lot Description
A Victorian silver bowl, the circular form decorated with a central band depicting the signs of the Zodiac, within foliate borders, gilt interior, hallmarked Frederick Brasted, London 1874, rim diameter 10cm, height 7cm, in a fitted cased with an associated spoon having similar decoration, hallmarked London 1821. Total silver weight 7.02ozt (218.6g).

Condition Report
- Victorian bowl:
- In good overall condition
- Displaying some general light surface wear, marks and scratches
- Decoration appears crisp and has retained much of the detail
- Gilt interior very bright
- Good clear hallmarks located to base
- George IV spoon:
- General surface scratches, marks and wear
- With some fairly heavy tarnishing all over
- Slightly heavier wear around the edge and tip of the bowl
- Hallmarks clear and legible, maker's mark partly distorted, possibly Thomas & George Hayter
- Fitted case:
- With some general surface wear, scuffs and minor losses, with heavier wear to the base
- Slight damage around clasp but does still close securely
- Material lining appears in fairly good condition overall; some more heavily worn patches and minor stains
