A late Victorian silver novelty cheroot cutter, modelled in the form of a period tennis racquet, the handle pushing up to reveal the blade. Hallmarked Birmingham 1887. Length 5.2cm, gross weight 5.3g.

Condition Report
- Displaying some expected surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing/blackening, consistent with the age and use.
- Some minor nicks and dints
- Appears in working order and handle moves up and down easily
- With suspension loop attachment
- Hallmarks located to handle, a little rubbed but clearly legible
- The incised line decoration on the handle goes through the centre of the maker's mark, likely reads W.O, possibly for William Oliver
- Also impressed with registered no. 91846
