Full Lot Description
An Edwardian silver cigar case, the rounded rectangular form bright-cut engraved all over with flowers and foliate scrolls, and a personal presentation inscription. Hallmarked Colen Hewer Cheshire, Chester 1907. Measuring 14.5cm by 8.8cm, weight 6.84ozt (212.7g).

Condition Report
- Presentation engraving reads 'To James Fletcher Esq. J.P. as a token of esteem from A.J.G. 1908'
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing.
- Some slightly heavier wear around edges and corners.
- Some light surface rubbing to areas of the engraved decoration but overall appears bright and in good condition.
- Hinges in working order and the case does close albeit not very securely.
- Gilt interior.
- Elastic strap inside is worn and stretched; and there is a blackened strap mark on the opposite side.
- Hallmarks located inside and these are clear and legible with some minor rubbing.
