A George IV silver campana shape christening cup, the faceted upper body above a chased acanthus leaf border, with serpent and scroll handle. Hallmarked George King, London 1825. Height to rim 8cm, and to handle 9.5cm, weight 4.1ozt (127.6g).

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches, commensurate with age.
- Showing general tarnishing all over with darker patches and residues to some areas and crevices.
- With some minor surface dints and nicks.
- Visible solder around joins of handle.
- Foot rim is very slightly misshapen and cup wobbles a little.
- Gilt interior a little faded.
- Hallmarks rubbed in parts but still legible; maker's mark appears overstruck.
