Full Lot Description
A Chinese export sterling silver overlay decanter, the Haig's Whisky Dimple design clear glass bottle overlaid in silver with leafy bamboo shoots, below a plain cylindrical neck to a tricorn shape rim, and a removable silver mounted cork stopper engraved with similar bamboo motifs. Marked to the base 'sterling silver made in Hong Kong' with further possible maker's mark 'LY'. Height 25.5cm.

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.
- Silver mounts appear quite heavily tarnished throughout. Residues of polish and dirt are visible.
- Mount lifting slightly in some areas and there appear to be a couple of minor cracks.
- A few minor dints to silver rim. A few minor dints and bumps to the stopper mount and a possible small repair.
- Stopper appears a fairly good fit to the main body.
- Some heavier contact wear and scuffs around base rim.
- Impressed marks to base are clear and legible.
- Some manufacturing imperfections in the glass.
