Full Lot Description
A French silver part canteen, in a plain Fiddle style pattern, comprising eight each of table spoons and forks, and six each of dessert spoons and forks, plus six each of silver handled table knives and fruit/dessert knives. With Minerva 950 guarantee mark, bigorne countermarks and maker's marks. Weight excluding knives 51.69ozt (1608g).

Condition Report
- All the pieces appear in fairly good overall condition, displaying some surface scratches, marks and wear
- Some general tarnishing with heavier spots and patches to some parts
- The tips of the fork tines still feel sharp to the touch
- The knives have stainless steel blades and the handles are likely filled; heavier wear and marks to some of the handles and some visible seams
- Minerva guarantee and maker's marks are mostly clear and legible, bigorne countermarks rubbed
- Maker's mark in a diamond lozenge, reading A over P with what resembles a lion in between; and a further mark of a spoon between two stars
- Lot is sold with two fitted boxes but they are not big enough to fit all the pieces
