An early 20th century red bakelite and vari-hue paste braded hairwork necklace, length 44cm, 47.5gm.

Condition Report
Some surface abrasions and surface discolouration.
Bakelite appears medium orange to brownish-orange and dark red. Bakelite (77.1gm) with some minor surface abrasions, some to moderate abrasions to drill holes, and some internal streaking. Bakelite (47.5gm) with some surface scratches, moderate surface abrasions, and some discolouration to the drill holes.
Paste appears medium pinkish-red to greenish-yellow, with some minor to moderate surface abrasions, one bead with some chipping to the surface, and one bead fractured.
Hairwork with some minor fraying.
