Full Lot Description
A 1930's silver condiment set by Mappin & Webb, comprising a pair of mustard pots and pair of open salts, each with spoon and blue glass liner, plus a pair of pepper pots, all pieces of circular faceted form with trailing berry and leaf border. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Birmingham 1931, spoons hallmarked William Neale & Son Ltd., Birmingham 1930/31. Silver weight 8.13ozt (253g). In original fitted case.

Condition Report
- All pieces displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use
- Some minor surface nicks/dints
- Some heavier tarnishing and staining/dirt inside each pot, including some green residues to inside rim of the pair of open salts
- Small areas of damage/repairs visible around the hinged sections of both mustard pots; hinges with some movement but both lids close, one flush, the other rises up slightly
- Hallmarks mostly clear and legible with light rubbing to some
- Pots all further inscribed 'Mappin & Webb Ltd' to each base; with impressed registered no. 722891
- Glass liners all appear in good order overall with some minor rim nibbles
- Fitted case appears in good overall condition with some light surface wear; some heavier scuffs to exterior corners, and some slight fading/discolouration to interior lining
