A mid-Victorian silver mug with double scroll handle, the body engraved with bunches of grapes and vine leaves surrounding a vacant oval. Hallmarked Daniel & Charles Houle, London 1868. Height to handle 10cm, weight 5.63ozt (175.2g).

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use
- Showing some surface dints to the main body, especially around the cartouche
- With minor surface nicks including around edges
- Surface rubbing and some loss of detail or definition to areas of the engraved decoration
- Residues of dried polish to some areas and crevices, most notably around the handle joins
- Wobbles very slightly
- Hallmarks located below the rim to one side of the handle; rubbed in parts but all punches still clearly legible
