  • All parts displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use
  • A little blackening and residues of dried polish to some areas and crevices
  • With a notable dint to one side of the main body, and further smaller dints and bumps to other areas
  • Solder visible around joins of handle and spout and in some of the grooves around the rim, some possible small repairs?
  • Removable lid appears to be a good fit inside the rim of the kettle, but is unmarked
  • Heavier tarnishing and staining inside the kettle and residues of dried polish
  • Wicker is coming loose to the lower parts of the handle, more so on one side
  • Hallmarks to the kettle are located to the base, rubbed in parts but all still legible
  • The kettle fits well inside the rim of the stand, however the hallmarks located to the base of the burner are heavily worn with only traces remaining including part of the leopard head which looks to be uncrowned, therefore dating the stand after 1820/1821
  • Burner also has a removable lid, which appears unmarked
  • Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition
