A 19th century Russian silver cigarette case, the rounded rectangular form with niello decoration to base and hinged lid, various struck marks including 84 zolotniki standard, Assay Master mark dated 1871, cyrillic maker's mark and a possible town mark for Minsk, measuring 11.5cm by 6cm, gross weight 3.83ozt (119.2g); together with two niello napkin rings, appear unmarked.
