Full Lot Description
A late George III silver snuff box, of rounded rectangular form and slightly curved, the top engraved with an oval panel of trailing leaves, and the base monogrammed, all within stippled and wriggle-work borders. Hallmarked Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham 1811. Measuring 6cm by 3.2cm, weight 28.6g.

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use
- Showing heavier scratched marks to some areas, particularly around the monogrammed panel
- With some minor surface nicks and dints all over and including around the edges and rounded corners
- Possible repairs to some of the corners
- With surface rubbing and some loss of detail to areas of the decoration
- Hinges appears in good working order and box closes securely
- Interior gilded, a little faded and dirty to some areas
- Hallmarks located to interior base and reverse of lid, a little rubbed in parts but still clearly legible
