Full Lot Description
Two late Victorian silver vesta cases, of typical form, both with bright-cut leaf decoration, the smaller example hallmarked Colen Hewer Cheshire, Birmingham 1897, the larger case also personally engraved, hallmarked William Hair Haseler, Birmingham 1900; together with a silver single sovereign case with engine-turned decoration and sprung platform inside, also hallmarked Birmingham 1900. Gross weight 2.07ozt (64.5g). (3).

Condition Report
- All appear in fairly good overall condition, displaying some light surface wear, marks and scratches
- A little blackening and residues of dried polish to some areas and crevices
- Interior of larger vesta is heavily tarnished/stained
- Some slight loss of detail to areas of the bright-cut engraving on the vestas, but overall has remained clean and bright
- Some slight surface dints to one side of the sovereign case
- All hinges appear in working order; the larger vesta does not snap shut and springs back up slightly when closed
- Push release button on the sovereign case is a little stiff
- All hallmarks clearly legible
