A modern silver salver, of circular form with raised scalloped rim to a plain centre, and raised on bracket feet. Hallmarked Garrard & Co Ltd., Sheffield 1973. Maximum diameter 26cm, weight 16.57ozt (515.5g).

- Displaying some surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and general use
- Heavier tarnishing/staining to some areas
- Residues of dried polish to some areas and crevices
- The plain centre shows many surface nicks and contact marks, and some larger, deeper scratches
- Feels steady on its feet
- Hallmarks located to base; residues of polish in the punches but marks all clear and legible with minor rubbing
