An early 20th century Jugendstil pewter novelty inkwell designed by Joseph Reinemann, Munich, in the form of a grotesque bird with hinged head cover and raised to three webbed feet with a green ceramic liner, height 11cm

- Stamped to the interior of the liner 8125, otherwise apparently unmarked
- Some scuffs and marks to the pewter
- The interior of the liner is dusty and crazed
