A 19th century tortoiseshell tea caddy of rounded rectangular form with ivory trim, the hinged cover opening to a two division interior, metal lock plate and vacant cartouche to the lid, 17cm x 10.5cm x 9cm

- Some lifting and rippling to the veneer
- The rectangular panels have visible running lines, which I suspect at one point had silver coloured metal inlay, which is now missing in parts
- Some blemishes to the tortoiseshell
- Missing lids
- Some splits and crude repairs to the ivory lining
