Full Lot Description
An Edwardian silver pedestal sugar basket, of circular tapering form with beaded rim and swing handle, decorated with pierced borders enclosing engraved floral swags and further pierced ovals, with a blue glass liner. Hallmarked Thomas Bradbury & Sons, London 1905. Height to rim 11cm and with handle upright 16cm, weight excluding liner 4.37ozt (136g).

Condition Report
- Appears quite dirty and heavily tarnished all over and in need of a clean
- With blackening and residues of dried polish to some areas and crevices
- No personal engravings, oval cartouche to the front is blank
- Swing handle appears in good working order and is self-supporting; very slight dink to the top of the handle, at the location of the hallmark punches
- Glass liner appears quite dirty with some sticky residues; some minor rim nibbles; good fit inside the basket
- Hallmarks located below the rim to one side of handle with part marks to the handle; rubbed in parts and punches blackened or with polish residues, but all still legible
