Great Britain. Middlesex CU Anti-slavery 1/2 Penny Token. 1787-1797. AM I NOT A MAN AND A BROTHER, slave in chains kneeling to right in supplication / MAY SLAVERY & OPRESSION CEASE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD +, clasped hands. Edge inscription: [PAY]ABLE IN LANCASTER, LONDON OR LIVERPOOL. D & H 1038b. 9.37g, 27mm, 6h.

Very Fine, edge legend error.
