Surface scratches and minor marks.
Replacement brooch fittings, discolouration and soft solder visible.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Opals appear white to semi transluscent. Fair to good play of colour across a range of hues. 
One opal with minor chip and matrix indent. One opal with fine crack.
Electronically tests to reverse as approximately 20ct gold (fittings not tested).
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
