Condition Report
- All spoons appear in good overall condition, displaying some general light surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing
- Gilding to bowls a little faded
- Bright-cut decoration appears bright, possibly engraved at a later date
- Surface rubbing and loss of definition to some of the drops on the heels
- Hallmarks appear mostly clear and legible with minor rubbing; residues of dried polish to some punches and heavier wear to some of the maker's marks, and consequently only partly legible
- The material lining to case with general surface wear and some heavier worn or threadbare patches; colour still bright
- Exterior of case with some damage, tears and losses, particularly around the hinges; does not close securely, likely associated
- Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition
