A mid-20th century silver coffee or hot water pot, of plain baluster form to a stepped circular foot, with double scroll wood handle and wood finial to the domed, hinged cover. Hallmarked William Comyns & Sons Ltd (Richard Comyns), London 1964. Height to finial 26.5cm, gross weight 25.8ozt (802.3g).

- Appears in good overall condition
- Displaying some general light surface wear, marks, and scratches, commensurate with age and use
- Some general tarnishing all over, with heavier patches to some areas, and darker staining inside
- Hinged lid in good working order and closes flush
- Hallmarks located to one side of upper handle join, rubbed in parts but all still legible; further lion passant and leopard head struck to lid
