- Both medals displaying some general surface wear, marks, and rubbing
- Some minor nicks or knocks around edges
- General tarnishing to both and blackening/residues to some areas
- Both with ribbons present; they appear in good condition with colours still bright and minimal dirt and fading; with minor fraying or loose threads to the ends
- Some tears to the paper sleeves, especially the BWM example
