Full Lot Description
A George V silver dish, of fluted oval form, the curved rim with applied beaded edge rising to 'Green Man' mask motif at each end, above stylised dolphin and floral scroll border, and raised on four paw and shell feet with further 'Green Man' surmounts. Hallmarked D & J Wellby Ltd., London 1912. Maximum length 20cm and height 13cm, weight 21.54ozt (670.2g).

Condition Report
- With fairly heavy tarnishing throughout and some blackening and residues of dried polish to certain areas and crevices, especially in the decoration
- Would benefit from a further clean and polish
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use
- With some minor surface nicks and dints
- Surface wear and rubbing to areas of the decoration, causing slight loss of detail or definition to some areas but generally in good order overall and retaining much detail
- Steady on its feet
- Hallmark punches appear blackened with some minor rubbing to the marks but still all clearly legible
