Early 20th century Colombian emerald ring

Surface scratches and small marks.
Diamonds appear fairly bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. 
Emerald appears a deep medium slightly bluish green. 
Moderate abrasions.

Electronically tests as platinum and approximately 17-18ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
