Victorian gold diamond mourning ring

Surface scratches and minor marks.
Band resized slightly, minor line, 'd' from 'died' is deficient.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
One accent diamond nicked. 
Possibly previously enamelled, no trace remains. 
Length of ring head 1.5cms. 
Electronically tests as approximately 17ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
