Louis Vuitton in September's Designer Collection

Fellows' upcoming Designer Collection sale on Monday 30th September features many stylish Louis Vuitton handbags. Sophie Higgs, Designer Collection Specialist at Fellows, has picked out some of the highlight lots.

The sale includes two limited edition suede Rust Havane Stamped Trunk bowling handbags in a PM (small model) and a GM (large model). The bags feature a brown suede exterior with black patent leather trim, alligator embossed burgundy leather top handles, and gold-tone hardware accents. There is a 'Trunks and Bags' stamped circular logo to the centre front flat pocket, top zip fastening and black logo fabric lining.

They are classically shaped and can be used as a handbag or a companion case for traveling. This is a must-have collectable for Louis Vuitton lovers as there were only a limited supply of 1,200 sold in the US. Lot 375 (GM) is estimated at £350-£450 and Lot 376 (PM) is estimated at £250-£350 in the sale.

Lot 280 in the sale is a limited edition Louis Vuitton Ostrich Frame Speedy handbag. An ultra-rare piece first seen on the runway of Marc Jacobs' Spring/Summer 2008 Collection, designed in collaboration with Richard Prince. It features a modern twist on the iconic Speedy bag by combining classic the Speedy shape with an acetate top frame.

Crafted from tan ostrich skin, this bag is embellished with gold-tone metal stylised 'Speedy' lettering. Furthermore, it has dual rolled handles, a detachable ID tag, logo branded resin top frame with latch fastening and it opens to a smooth leather lined interior. The handbag is estimated at £1,800 - £2,400.

Lot 281 in the sale is a Louis Vuitton limited edition Speedy Eden Bandoulière 30 handbag. Inspired by the iconic Speedy, the design has been reinvented for the brand's Spring/Summer 2010 collection. It was revamped to reference the lifestyle of New Age travellers.

The bag is crafted from classic monogram canvas with metallic silver leather stripes throughout, creating a mesmerizing trompe-l’œil’ effect with the iconic motif. There is an optional nylon crossbody strap for versatile carrying, top zip fastening with maker's padlock and keys, and cream microfiber lining with two interior slip pockets. The bag is estimated at £350 - £450.

Lot 282 is a Louis Vuitton limited edition Monogram Golden Arrow Speedy handbag. Marc Jacobs' 2012-2013 Fall/Winter runway collection was a playful nod back to the House's past. This version of Speedy called Golden Arrow is very elegant and timeless. It reminds me of the past and at the same time it’s incredibly stylish.

This bag is inspired by the vintage glamour of train travel. Named after a 1920s boat train, it perfectly encapsulates the travel atmosphere. The bag features a classic structured Speedy shape with Bordeaux coloured leather trim and a large golden buckle. It is estimated at £300-£400.
