A Preen By Thornton Bregazzi dress worn by British-American fashion model Arizona Muse is to be auctioned on behalf of charity. The elegant dress, crafted from recycled chiffon, was worn by Arizona on the cover of the 2021 edition of Great British Brands published by Country & Town House magazine, and it is to be sold by Fellows Auctioneers. With an estimate of £300 - £400, the one-lot auction will close on January 29th. Money raised will be donated to Choose Love – a charity which has raised millions to support refugees and created a movement of people putting love into action around the world.

The Preen By Thornton Bregazzi dress worn by Arizona Muse

Each year, lifestyle media business Country & Town House publishes its Great British Brands compendium. In time-honoured tradition, the front cover dress is being sold to raise funds for the designer’s chosen charity. This is a unique opportunity to own something completely bespoke and original from one of the UK’s best-loved fashion brands, as well as raising much-needed funds for charity. Furthermore, the dress was worn by a prominent international fashion model.

Arizona Muse has appeared on the cover of editorials around the world. Starting her model career in 2009, Arizona has established herself as a leading fashion model. Perhaps a big pull for Arizona to take part in this shoot is that the one-off cover dress was crafted from recycled chiffon bearing an exclusive print of broken tiles and scattered flowers, hand dyed with vegetable dye. Deficient of all accessories, boots and undergarments featured in the images, the dress is of a size small, loose fitting. The sustainable dress is the perfect purchase for all fashion lovers.

Alexandra Whittaker, PR & Communications Manager at Fellows Auctioneers, said: “We are thrilled to be starting the year with such a brilliant collaboration to help a great charity. The fact that the dress is sustainable too adds to the great cause and we are not charging any bidding fees for this item, ensuring that all funds raised will be going straight to Choose Love. The sale is live now, and all you have to do is simply create an account to bid on this wonderful item and raise much-needed funds for Choose Love.”

Justin Thornton, of Preen, said: “This piece is a one off with an exclusive print made specifically for Great British Brands. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi of making something that’s broken beautiful and better, the print of broken tiles and scattered flowers on recycled chiffon came from our archive of fabrics and was hand dyed with vegetable dye. We wanted to take something that was discarded to make it into something beautiful and new.”
