A sapphire and diamond three-stone ring. The circular-shape sapphire, with old and brilliant-cut diamond sides, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Weight 2.5gms.
Purchasing information-
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. The gallery dates from the mid 20th century, with one replacement brilliant-cut diamond and a replacement band. Evidence of repair to the settings, milled edges worn. Sapphire blue, fair colour saturation. Significant surface reaching inclusions and damage visible to the unaided eye. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Old-cut with an inclusion under the table facet, visible under magnification. Brilliant-cut with large inclusions visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasion. Ring size P1/2. Replacement band stamped 18ct.
