Here at Fellows we offer an online bidding service, complete with live audio and video, so you can watch the auction as it happens from wherever you are.

Sign in to your My Fellows or register to use Fellows’ integrated live bidding platform.

Fellows’ integrated live bidding carries a surcharge of 3% (plus VAT) or 3.6% (inclusive of VAT).

Buyers can choose whether to pay a live bidding charge of 3% (plus VAT) or 3.6% (inclusive of VAT) of the hammer price, or a fixed fee of £3 per sale.

Buyer's Premium

Fellows recommend that all bidders and buyers read our terms and conditions and buyer’s premium. These are also available at the back of our catalogues.

 

The buyer shall pay:

On the first £100,000 of the Hammer Price (of any individual lot) the buyer will pay the hammer price and a premium of 23% (plus VAT) or 27.6% (inclusive of VAT)

On the excess over £100,001 of the hammer price (of any individual lot), the buyer will pay the hammer price and a premium of 15% (plus VAT) or 18% (inclusive of VAT).

Items marked with * contain VAT at 20% on the hammer price.

 

Payment and Shipping

If your bid is successful, we will email your invoice to you at the end of each auction. You can also view your invoices from your My Fellows account.

Payment methods:

You can pay by secure online payment, by cheque, by bank transfer, in person or by telephone.

 

Online: pay via our secure payments page. You will need your invoice number.

By cheque: please make cheques payable to Fellows Auctioneers Ltd and send them to: Fellows Auctioneers, Augusta House, 19 Augusta Street, Birmingham, B18 6JA. Please note that your items will not be posted until your cheque has cleared.

In person: you can pay in person and take your items home on the day of the auction. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, Delta, cheques and cash.

Shipping Options

We offer an excellent in-house shipping service for our Jewellery, Watches and Coins & Medals auctions, providing that the items weigh less than 2kgs and have a value of less than £20,000.

Within the UK, hammer totals under £100 will cost £10. Hammer totals over £100 will cost £20.

Outside the UK the charge will be £30.

Due to the size and vulnerability of the items in our Silver and Antiques & Fine Art auctions, we are unable to post these items. Please check the cost of courier services before bidding on these items.
