Virtual Valuations: A How-To Guide

We use video conferencing technology called 'Zoom' to create a unique valuation experience. You will be able to see our valuers on your screen and show them the item(s) you would like valued. You will be able to join one of our specialists in a private appointment to discuss your valuation. They will explain the valuation process to you as well as how to sell with us, if you decide that is what you want to do.

What will you need?

  • An appointment
  • A computer or laptop with a webcam will give you the most immersive experience. However, a phone or tablet with a camera will work too
  • The items you would like valuing
As we can’t personally examine the items with our equipment, we ask that sit in a place with as much natural light as possible and you come prepared with the following (where possible):
  • Pound coin
  • Ruler
  • White paper
  • Kitchen scales
  • A magnifying glass
  • Any previous appraisal paperwork

These items are helpful to provide reference points to our valuers.
