A pair of aquamarine and diamond ear pendants.

Condition Report

A pair of aquamarine and diamond ear pendants. Each designed as an oval-shape aquamarine collet, to the vari-cut diamond openwork tapered bar and oval-shape aquamarine surmount. Estimated total brilliant-cut diamond weight 0.35ct. Length 5.5cms. Weight 7.8gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Indentations visible to some collets.
  • The tapered bar panels appear to be early 20th century, with replacement diamonds. The collets and earring fittings added at a later date.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • The aquamarines are fairly well matched, they are light greyish blue, with a weak to moderate saturation of colour.
  • Minor surface abrasion visible with magnification.
