A pair of mabe pearl, diamond and seed pearl cluster earrings.

Condition Report

A pair of mabe pearl, diamond and seed pearl cluster earrings. Each designed as a mabe pearl, measuring 13mms, within an alternating old-cut diamond and seed pearl border, to the old-cut diamond surmount. Two seed pearls deficient. Estimated total diamond weight 2.30cts, I-J colour, SI clarity. Length 2.2cms. Weight 17.5gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • A seed pearl is missing to each earring.
  • Each earring also has one split seed pearl. A crack can be seen to each one. The durability of these seed pearls is impaired.
  • The mabe pearls are well matched. Each has a cream body colour with silver over tones and minor blemishes to the surface.
  • Diamond fairly well matched.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • With fixed posts for pierced ears and hinged back security fittings.
