Condition Report

U-BOAT - a gentleman's Classico chronograph wrist watch. PVD-treated stainless steel case with exhibition case back. Reference 316-L, serial 0355. Signed automatic movement with quick date set. Black dial with baton hour markers, Arabic numeral four, eight and twelve, subsidiary carbon-fibre recorder dials to six and twelve, subsidiary seconds dial to three, date aperture to nine. Fitted to a signed black leather strap with PVD-treated stainless steel deployant clasp. 52mm. Box and papers.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning. The chronograph counts one minute, but the hour counter has not been tested due to time constraints.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.
  • Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. There are some slight dints to the edges of the glass.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown screws down and has scratches and marks.
  • Strap shows marks and creasing.
  • Buckle shows wear to the plating as well as marks and scratches.

    This lot comes with a box. The outer box is damaged however the inner box is in good condition. Also included are papers dated 31-8-12.
