Condition Report

A George III silver teapot stand, of oval serpentine form with beaded edge and raised upon four claw and ball feet, hallmarked Hester Bateman, London 1786, length 7.5" (19cm). Together with a cased George III table spoon, in Old English pattern with feather edge, hallmarked London, probably 1781, also Hester Bateman, length 8" (20.5cm). Total weight 7.22 ozt (224.8 grams). (2).

Purchasing information
    Both with scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Teapot stand with a number of small indentations and nicks throughout, particularly to underside. 4.5" deep scratch lines beneath, and visible construction soldering where feet join top. Spoon with wear the feather edge pattern and heel of bowl. A few nicks to edges. Date letter worn.
