Full Lot Description
A late Victorian silver mounted novelty pin cushion, modelled as a crib, with heraldic shield and arabesque decoration, hallmarked Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1900, length 6.5cm; together with an early 20th century example, modelled as a square cushion with rope border tied at the corners, hallmarked Birmingham 1912, probably A & J Zimmerman Ltd., measuring 6cm square at corners. Gross weight including cushions 2.43ozt (75.7g). (2).

Condition Report
- Both appear quite heavily tarnished all over and in need of a clean.
- Both displaying some general expected surface wear, marks, scratches and nicks, consistent with their age and use.
- Crib - with some slight nicks around edges; slight knocks to one of the end panels and also to the feet; decoration with dirt to crevices but appears in good order overall; cushion very faded; hallmarks clear and also with registration no. 291605.
- Cushion - with several dints and bumps visible to the top around the inset cushion to the centre; cushion is likely a later replacement; residues of sticker marks to the base; hallmarks clear but maker's mark a little distorted.
