The porringer is in fair condition commensurate with age and use with general scratches and marks. The item displays heavy tarnishing and discoloration to the whole and would benefit from a polish. There is evidence of some pitting and small shallow dents to the surface. There is evidence of polish build up along the handles. The inside of the porringer was possibly once of gilt effect and is now fading. The maker's mark and hallmark are a little rubbed but legible.
