Overall the sugar basket displays wear commensurate with the age and use with general scratches, marks and tarnishing and would benefit from a clean. Numerous shallow minor dints to the whole. The solder joins to the base have become visible, along with obvious solder to the underneath of the base. The glass appears in good condition, two minor small nibbles to the rim. A little rubbing to the detail of the engraving in keeping with the age. The hallmarks to the underside are clear and legible, the makers mark also possibly reading S.W.
