Lot Description

A base metal military issue open face keyless wind Jaeger-LeCoultre pocket watch, the black dial with white and quarterly luminescent Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds to six o'clock, all surround by an exterior minute track, the plain case back stamped G.S.T.P. F012299 below a British broad arrow, fitted with a signed fifteen jewel movement numbered 467/2. Case diameter 51.5mm. Together with a further unsigned base metal military issue open face pocket watch, the back stamped GS/TP 042224, with the British broad arrow. Both at fault.

Jaeger-LeCoultre military pocket watch. The manual winding movement is currently not functioning. The dial has marks and discolouration, there is a large scratch radiating form the centre to between the 3 and 4 numerals. The luminescent numbers at 12, 3 9 and part of 6 have discoloured and are in poor condition. The hands show signs of tarnishing. The glass is scratches. The case has scratches and scuffs as a result of general use. The back is stamped 'G.S.T.P F012299'  below a British broad arrow. The crown at the top of the watch is missing. Its recommended that this is for repair or restoration.

Base metal military pocket watch. The manual winding movement is currently not functioning. The dial some discolouration, this is partially evident to the bottom right between 3 and 6 o'clock. The luminescent numbers and hour markers show signs of discolouration. The subsidiary second hand has a dark mark to the centre. The minute hand has become detached and is loose under the glass and the second hand is missing. The glass is scratched. The case shows signs of scuffing and is scratched. The back is stamped GS/TP 042224' with the British broad arrow. Its recommended that this is for repair or restoration.
