Lot 216

Lot Description

An early 20th century 9ct gold manual wind lady's bracelet watch, the white dial with black Arabic numerals and red twelve, plain round case numbered 8174, hallmarked London import circa 1919, fitted to an expandable bracelet stamped 9ct, with an unsigned movement with Swiss lever escapement. Case diameter approximately 25mm. With associated box.

Movement is currently functioning. Case shows signs of general wear with light scratches, marks, tarnishing and the odd dint to the back. The majority of these look to be superficial and should polish out. Glass is chipped slightly around the edge and has some heavy scratches to the centre. Hands are a little tarnished otherwise they and the dial look to be in a generally pleasing condition.

Box is heavily worn, hinge has come loose and the box is now in two halves.
