There are general surface marks and scratches in keeping with the age if the item.

The scratches are more visible and numerous to the underside.

There is an area of damage below the inscription on the front  - a small dent surrounded by deeper and more visible scratches.

There is a split in the metal on two of the handles - on the underside of the curved part at the top (probably where the metal joins).

The hallmark is slightly rubbed but still very clear, likewise the makers mark.
