Lot Description

An Edwardian silver pedestal dish, the circular bowl embossed with a continuous band of stylised decorative motifs and large globular mouldings, with conforming decoration to the spreading foot.  Hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1908.  Height 4 3/4 inches (12cm), weight 12.77 ozt (397 grams).

There are general surface marks and scratches in keeping with the age of the item.

There is some tarnishing.

There are some small dents, in particular around the rim.  The rim is slightly misshapen and is not a perfect circle.


There is a larger dent in the metal on the spreading foot.


The hallmarks are very clear,  The makers marks are slightly rubbed.
