A Victorian tortoiseshell pique bangle of hinged design with metal hinges, the centre inlaid with gold in a honeycomb pattern and further foliate designs to the edges. Width of bangle 22cms. AF.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair - the exterior of the bangle has been cleaned with an abrasive at some point which has damaged the tortoiseshell, there is also a chip which has been filled. The hinges are slightly rusty. To the inside of the bangle one panel is of tortoiseshell and has damage to one end revealing a filled interior, one panel has been replaced.
