Lot Description

Four Victorian silver Fiddle pattern teaspoons by Josiah Williams & Co (James & Josiah Williams) Exeter 1871, initialled. Together with three further Victorian silver Fiddle pattern teaspoons, hallmarked London various dates. Gross weight 5.1 ozt (160 grams).

Overall the teaspoons display general scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The  hallmarks overall are in good condition. The three separate teaspoons are hallmarked London 1850/66/79 and the maker's Joseph & Albert Savory, Charles Boyton (II) and Samuel Whitford. There is a dent to the handle on one of the separate teaspoons, one is initialled, one crested and the third has no engraving.
